Happy Sunday 😊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's a day of gratitude and being aware that we are blessed to be alive in this day and age. Each of us fulfilling what we were sent here to do💯.
So thank you for being here and please keep reading as I let you in on how my day went including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. So much is going, hold on tight as we get into all of it, here we go again, come on 💨 .
So I began the day with a 30 minutes walk around the neighborhood. The sun 🌞 was out early but soon the clouds ☁️ took over as it turned overcast in a few minutes.
I got a few groceries then went back indoors handling the usual house hold chores. In between I kept following the trending stories of the day.
My final walk came late evening visiting the park for the sunset 🌄 walk. It was heavily cloudy ☁️ as I went around Battersea park.
Next, let's look at what trended globally in the media.
In Gaza, it's confirmed that 274 Palestinians have been killed in Al Nusierat refugee camp🙀. That intense fight led to the freeing of 4 Israeli captives.
Another 3 captives were killed in the operation including an American citizen😿.
Does it make sense to lose over 200 for the rescue of 4?🙀.
Also trending, Benny Gantz has quit the Israeli coalition govt🙀. He says Netanyahu is making total victory in Gaza impossible. He has called on defense minister, Yoav Gallant to be brave and do what is right.
Further, asking Netanyahu to set an agreed election date.
He had earlier asked Netanyahu to clearly explain how the Gaza war would end, but Netanyahu has planned to go on for months 🙀.
Trending in Europe. French president Macron, has dissolved parliament after defeat in EU parliament vote😹.
30th June will be the first round of voting, followed by a second round on 7th July. Far right leader, Marine Le Pen is happy and says her party is ready to take power😹.
The far right is holding ground in Germany, Austria and Netherlands. Voters have been choosing representatives for the next five year term of the EU parliament.
Across the pond in the US, former president Donald Trump has been campaigning in Nevada. Urging voters to vote him in. He narrowly lost the state to Biden in the last election. Will they vote for him this time? It remains to be seen.
Finally, let's end with some trending sports news.
India have beaten Pakistan in the T20 cricket tournament 🎊. Upto half a billion people were watching the match🙀. Congratulations to the Indian team🎉.
In the French open, 21 year old Carlos Alcatraz has made history as the youngest winner as he beat Alexander Zverev. Congratulations 🎉 to him 🎊. Anything is possible if u believe in yourself💯.
