Hello everyone π»,
Happy Thursday π and a very warm welcome to my report. Thank you for stopping by as I breakdown how my day went including some of the trending stories that caught my eye π.
Let's not waste any more time, here we go again π¨.
So just like yesterday I was up early for my morning walk around the neighborhood. By 9 the sun π was out making for a beautiful sunrise π, though the blowing wind was damn coldπ₯Ά.
After about twenty minutes, I was back indoors handling the usual house chores. Later on, I was on YouTube watching the trending news and crypto related stuff.
My final walk, was the usual slow paced sunset π walk. Just around the neighborhood ending up at my workout corner in the parkπ³.I made it back safe n sound calling it a day.
So now let's get into the trending stories from around the world.
Starting off in Gaza, the blood bath continued with 27 Palestinians killed across the stripπΏ.
In one strike in central Gaza, a UNRWA school was hit killing 4 childrenπΏ.
A UN committee report has found the war in Gaza consistent to genocideπ.
The forced displacement of 90% of Gaza population, starvation and mass punishment all point towards war crimesπ.
The US is the only one that can hold Israel responsible, let's wait to see how they respond to that report and proposals therein.
Not far off Israel has continued airstrikes in Lebanon. Deaths reported as areas on the southern border hit, Beirut's Dahiyeh surburb and in Baalbekπ.
Hezbollah has remained defiant, firing rockets π into Israel saying no ceasefire until Israel stops airstrikes.
Meanwhile, US ambassador to Lebanon handed a ceasefire draft proposal to the speaker of Lebanese parliament. The draft ceasefire reportedly contains ideas and proposals for discussion.
Let's hope this will yield results to stop the expansion of the warπ―.
More Israeli airstrikes, this time in Damascus, Syria have killed 15 people πΏ. Israel has vowed to stop any weapons from crossing into Lebanon from Syria so as to continue weakening Hezbollahπ.
In Europe, France trending as they hosted Israeli football team for a match. A low attendance as out of an 80k capacity stadium only 13k fans watched the game.
Security heightened all over Paris as pro Palestinian protesters gathered to condemn that football match and war in Gazaπ.
Across the pond in the US, some of Trump's cabinet picks are raising eyebrowsπΉ. It's going to be an interesting 2025, can't wait to see the changes they will make.
Finally, in crazy weather, India trending. The capital, New Delhi has ordered all primary schools to close until further notice. The govt has also banned non essential construction in the city and urged residents to avoid coal for heating, to combat worsening air quality that has disrupted flights and obscured the Taj Mahalπ.
Let's hope the air quality improves ASAP π―.
So that was my day, see you again tomorrow on a high five Friday. Stay safe take care and toodles β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π» π―
