Another day of a decent step count wandering the Las Vegas Strip. Up until today I’ve been pretty good about food but fell off the wagon this evening at the Aria’s buffet. Bad wombat.
Didn’t play any cash game poker today but did enter two of the cheapie holdem tournaments that run frequently in Vegas. Coincidentally, in both tournaments busted out in the seventh round of blinds when my AQs two pair on the flop got bested by rivered straights.
I’m a tall guy (6’4”) so don’t see guys bigger than me all that often. Saw three my size so far this trip and then today saw a woman who was 6’6’ or maybe 6’7”. Other than at a Lynx game (women’s professional basketball), that’s happened only a handful of times in my adult life.
We went to see Penn & Teller this evening at the Rio. If you go to Vegas, go see them. Or catch them touring. Really a remarkable show.
