dialing things back a bit for a few days because i have a stupid hard event coming up this weekend. shooting for 10k today and tomorrow, 5k thurs/fri, then god only knows how much sat/sun. it will be fun. the event is called niwot’s challenge, check it out if you enjoy very difficult off-trail navigation type events: http://humanpotentialrunning.com/niwots-challenge/
anyhow, today’s exercise nonsense involved wandering around some nearby hills that were reported to contain ancient native american petroglyphs and arrowheads. petroglyphs were easy to find, arrowheads not so much. i was wandering for about 4hrs, and found 0 arrowheads, which works out to an average of about 0 arrowheads per hour. not sure if that is good or bad. maybe next time i will be luckier. given my luck in general, though, what will probably end up happening is i will trip and fall and stab myself to death on an arrowhead.

hmm not sure i understand… if 10,000 is the max, how am i able to get 20, 30, and 40k in this past week? or are you saying that 10k is a limit where your rewards don't increase any more beyond 10k?

yes the second part is the correct answer. We do not prevent people from going beyond 10,000, nor do we incentivize for doing that. If you do it, great, but no extra rewards :)

aha, as i suspected! thanks again for the response, i was just reading in the help channel on discord to understand more about how the rewards work. it's smart to have a max, otherwise people like me would be trying for 50k every day lol :)
