My Actifit Report Card: July 27 2019

The dinner today - burnt garlic butter fried rice, sprinkled with coriander.

Oh well, I am excited. From last 2 days the weight has started dropping again. It's slow but steady. Finally from 70 I have come to 68.5. I can also see my waist line changing.

Activity

Anyway, here is the activity report of the day. Since my feet is hurting due to an injury on my toe, I haven't been walking a lot. But O did walk to and back from work. Which is about the steps you see here. Also, walked around the lab, but spent max time standing inside a 4 degree cold room to purify the protein. Also added a CRISPR Cas9 virus to a cancer cell line today. We are going to check if knocking out a certain protein (the one I am purifying) from cancer cells incapacitate them from forming tumors in the mice, so fingers crossed.

Diet

2 boiled eggs, spinach soup, yellow lentils and finally burnt garlic butter fried rice. I am not counting calories, as I have seen earlier that despite taking good amount of calories it's the nutritional value that seem to work for me. All I am doing is however without counting calories just cutting down the portion of meals for inducing caloric restriction like phenomenon in my body. This is not as much for weight loss as much as for trying to slow down the ageing processes in my body.
