Walking Across the Golden Gate Bridge! My Actifit Report Card: May 4 2019

in actifit •  6 years ago

I'm so bummed that Actifit didn't track my activity today in San Francisco! My Samsung Health app says I did about 13,000 steps today walking the entire length of the Golden Gate Bridge (twice!) and through parts of the Presidio.

The weather was great and the views were absolutely breathtaking!!

This was only my second day using Actifit and it appears I need to some tweaking to make sure it captures all of my daily activity!

Unfortunelly this is something that can happen: however try to understand what is the problem asking for information on the server discord.
Maybe it could be that you have some settings for the app that turn it down.
Let's actift!

Unfortunately the app is somewhat easy to close when closing other apps on the phone. I often close it when I "Close All" and forget to open it again. As such i have 0 steps after today :/

There's also a setting to enable 'aggressive background tracking' which may be helpful.

I think you're exactly right about what happened. I remember hitting the "close all" button to clear out a bunch of notifications before I went walking. I'll be more mindful of ensuring that the app is running when I know I'm going out for a walk from now on.

Thanks for the advice!
