Steem needs a better actifit

Not knocking what actifit has attempted to do here in any way whatsoever I'm only pointing out that it could be so much more.

I got this handy Lil app for free (it does have ads) but it's nice to be able to focus on the whole package of fitness. One must eat and rest properly to be healthy, a simple pedometer with the most basic capabilities is underwhelming at best. The idea was nice but let's be honest it hasn't evolved or grown into much of anything..

Now, if we had an app that could help us keep up with not only our steps but also our dietary allowances, hydration, rest, vitamins, bmi, and chart it all out we would have something that might gain traction..

I've also always said there needs to be some gamification or competition built into such a platform. Actifit has rejected all those notions and I'd say in my humble opinion it's a fledgling or even failed premise.

I'm not a dev and I don't care to build anything here in any capacity I'm only saying if someone were so inclined my ideas would likely prove to be viable..

I'm not here to trash actifit but they could have definitely done more and perhaps carve out a nice flagship here on the blockchain.. Combine the best fitness apps into a casual blogging platform with monetization and reward people with something more than some silly second layer token and boom.. I'm not even talking steem, sell the F out and hook up with gyms, vitamin world, GNC, men's health, restaurants, yoga centers, and stop riding the wave of a decent idea that basically spams steem.. Be honest, most actifit posts are scraping the bottom of already questionable content here. Why is that? Is that acceptable? IRL everyone involved would have been fired. I'm not posting this to be a dick. It's reality and if we collectively want steem to be worth a shit like @theycallmedan (sorry to tag not sorry) said in a, post yesterday we must all find our own personal formulas for success. Then we must have collaborations free of butthurtedness because the business world doesn't give a fuck about how you feel. Suck it up buttercups.. Mini rant over I'm out to seize the day WTF r u doing?

Please anyone spare me from the it's a small team of underpaid people doing the best they can. Bullshit, the truth is these projects on steem ALL of them shouldn't start shit they can't follow through with, keep your day jobs!
