Sundays swim by so fast! I ran 7 miles in the morning with a friend. Then walked 3 with my Mom and son. In between, I cooked and did household tasks. The holidays tend to be so busy. It is easy to forget a sense of wonder. I wrote a few lines thinking of that sense of awe we often miss.
Wonder circles
Winter's silvery kiss;
Lights drape flowing cloaks
Travelers never miss;
Wishful eyes dare,
Among the garlands round;
Chancing, believing,
Hoping,
They hear
That distant sleighbell
