My Actifit Report Card: October 21 2019

Halloween/Fall Decorations

I hope the week has started well with you, today was a struggle to get moving after a long weekend but I managed to drag myself out of bd and get moving on schedule, when the days are so short its harder to get motivated knowing when I get to the city it will be before sunrise and still fairly dark so I won’t be getting a morning walk in before heading to the office, but I still like going in early then I don’t feel bad sneaking out for a short walk mid-morning and after lunch :)

Today on my walks I noticed all of the cute fall and not so cute Halloween decorations in shop windows and on the street so that's what I will focus on for this post.
Speaking of walking Just loops not too far from the office today so nothing exciting to report but managed to hit my step goal for the day :)

Starting with some Halloween Decoration above the entrance top Paddy Macquires Irish Pub taken last week

When I saw this display in the I window of a Norton Williams Supermarket this morning it started of the trend for this post

I liked the full shot of it in Mono edit, but decided to share a closer in shot with color Incase anyone was interested.
Personally i think it looks more dramatic in Mono, what do you think?

Now lets got for something a little cuter, I know strictly speaking they are a form of scarecrow but being so cute i will use the name someone came up for them that I think is more fitting haykids :)

Halloween started early this year in the stores, howerver we don’t se much of it outside so this was really cool to se 😉
I Loove the hay kids... Really cute.
The scary monsters are cool but the one in black&white is really scary 😁 made it more somehow.. Lol

Wow, those are super creepy! I hear you. As the weather gets cooler you get into that stay inside and cuddle up mode. It is awesome for the weekends, but it makes the weekdays so much harder to get up and moving!

I am serious JJ, you should market those photos.
Although I have no idea what marketing is, as I have never sold a photo.
But I am sure some or other mag will be interested in yours as they are great.

I have sold a few photos here and there, I add the ones i really like onto my website but honestly do not do much on the marketing side, but thats something i will make the time for when I have more free time next year

Ohh yes I am looking forward to setting my own routine but also dreading well dreading is not the right word just wondering how I will adjust after so long in the same routine but that said I have been slowing down work wise over the last year so won’t be to hard lol

Well, just make sure of one thing, that you stay active.
Let me tell you something that is strange to me. Since we moved in here about 3 months now, we have become totally isolated. I stay at home more often and it is almost like we have been imprisoned.
My leg pains prevent long walks and at times I don't know what to do, as we are used to very busy and active lives.
But here's the strange thing, I am slowly starting to get used to it.
Change needs to be accepted otherwise it causes discontent and we simply have to do the best we can in any situation.

Ohh I think I will stay active it is how I have always bene and now with my wife starting to try and get her steps in each day it will be good that we can go for walks together each day and motivate each other

I think with change you do adapt even if it is hard at the start

And yes acceptance f the change is the key

In reply to the photos through the window, I think the mono helps alleviate any distractions from reflections that the color one has.

And the shorter days are annoying. Get to work in the dark. Leave work in the dark. I much prefer to have sunlight, at least after work.
