A special tree

Had a pretty good day, there was very light slow when I first woke up but it stopped soon after and none settled but it looked like there was some black ice out and about, so I was glad I was telecommuting today and didn't have to head to the train station and into the city, was a quite day for activity, just went out once to the Supermarket, I did head outside with the plan for going for a walk about mid-morning but the wind was quite strong and the temp below freezing point and that demotivated me, so I got a few steps in around the house but a lazy day in regards to steps.
It was a good day for getting some things done around the house, and did some shopping online some clothes and Ugg Boots for my wife, and I finally hit the button and ordered a new Lens, well infact two of them, the Tamron 17-28 2.8 and the 28-75 2.8 lens, have read good reviews about them, and for most of my photography these will be handy lenses to have especially for walking around the city as there fairly light and a lot cheaper than the Sony equivalents, So roll on Sunday when they will arrive
the forecast is for a warmer day so maybe I will even get to go for a walk and try them out :)

For this post I am not sharing shots from my walking, that would be fairly boring around the house, so instead of sharing a couple of shots of a special tree to a contact, I have on Facebook.

this is by a stretch of water people call the Upper Duck Pond here in Milford, and its a lovely spot to walk any time of year but especially when the fall colors are out as they were when I took these shots

Now the tree which is I believe a Maple is not special, but it used to be in the front Yard of the persons mothers house, and when she passed the family asked the city if the tree could be moved to this area as their mother loved this spot, the city not only agreed but took care of moving the tree and as you can see it is doing well, as I know the special meaning of this tree to her whenever I walk around this area I will get shots of it and send them to her which she always appreciated
