Blog, no more Ubering, and My Actifit Report Card: April 22 2019

I learned today that my car is no longer eligible to drive for Uber, I guess it has gotten too old. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now about making money. I wish I had found this out before I had bought tickets to Thailand.

By the way, everyone should probably stay away from Qatar Airlines if you're doing any International traveling. I've had nothing but a headache since I booked the plane ticket. First the credit card didn't go through, that's fine, the credit card company just thought the purchase was strange. I got that through and booked the tickets. Then I get an email saying they want me to send them a scan of my passport, the first six and last four digits of my credit card number and a scan of the credit card statement with the purchase of the booking. I didn't want to do it, but I had spent all day searching for the cheapest flight without booking six months in advance and so I said screw it and sent them what they wanted. They said I needed to do it in 48 hours. Then the next day I get an email saying I hadn't complied and they needed the documentation in 24 hours. I sent them a follow up email saying Yes I very much did comply and I wanted to know if I was going to get the tickets or not. And they said we'll need you to bring your credit card with you in order to get on the flight and if you don't we might not let you on. I've read online many people having this exact same thing happen to them. It is pretty ridiculous that this is relatively standard practice for them. I should have cancelled the tickets the moment I got that email, I was just so tired I complied. Oh, well. I guess whatever happens, happens. I just hope I get on the flight and make it onto the return flight without any huge hassles. Stay away from Qatar Airlines if you can, it sounds like the actually planes and flight attendants are great but dealing with everything else is the worst.

I went down to Charleston to a coffee shop and continued my illustration work for Redbubble shirts and Amazon merch stuff.

I guess I could upload some of my work to other print-on-demand stores, I've put two on etsy and a couple on Teepublic (not sure if that's the one?) but I'm just not sure that I'm even creating anything that anyone wants to buy, so far I'm not making anything. I'm not sure if that's because I'm not getting the right keywords in the products that I'm uploading in a titles that descriptions, in terms of search engine optimization I have no fucking clue what I'm doing.

And in terms of even finding the right niches and using the right keywords I have no fucking clue what I'm doing. I still really don't understand how to figure any of that shit out. I am not an internet marketer. I just want to make stuff and put it out there. I know that's not how it all works, but I am so bad at social marketing and sales I really don't know how to do it.

Right now I'm finishing up with a run and I'm posting this before 12 o clock comes.
