The abundance of snow and rain that has poured out in this area over the past two weeks has done quite a number on the dirt roads here in the canyon. Fortunately, one of the neighbors drove his tractor around with a blade on the back to do some leveling. However, there was a section just past the cattle guard that still had some deep ruts, as shown in the picture above. As the chairman of the Libertarian Party in this county, I took it upon myself to do a service to the community by taking a shovel with me on my walk today, and throwing about fifty shovels of dirt into the ruts. All the people that drove by seemed happy to see this get done.
