Hello Actifitters and Steemians,
It was such a great Sunday filled with activities. We're now based in Monsaraz in Aletejo where Becca is from. We went out for a 2.5k run this morning and we realised that the Actifit app is tough at recognising movement or steps as what Actifit recorded is different from what the running app recorded. This is something the @actifit team should address. We needed to work double as hard to record Actifit steps. Yet, it is a motivator for us to be more fit and active.
Anyway, after the run we went to the castle of Monsaraz as today there was a boxcar race apparently the national competition. It was great seeing different boxcar from the simple ones to the more complex ones. All had different speeds and it was great to see children got involved. We cheered them all on and even got some shots. Yet, here is one:
It was such a hot day that we had a quick dip by the lake before making our way to the farm where Becca's family leaves the dog (Corky) for the day to run around with the horse. We picked her up and took a selfie in the car (picture above).
What do we have in store for tomorrow? We shall see! As always,

I've been seeing the actifit tag and just learned about it on your post. That's motivating, I'll check out the app.

Yea definitely a way to keep our posts on Steemit casual whilst we're "on holiday". If you manage to get the app, make sure to do at least 5,000 steps minimum before"Posting to Steemit" to get a reward in terms of AFIT tokens (a form of SMT... Once SMTs are created). Alternatively, you can (like we have) delegate your SP to @actifit and you'll get almost 1:1 everyday as a "thank you" for delegating. Its less of a 1:1 if more AFIT are distributed, but amount of STEEM delegated doesn't keep up daily. We've accumulated over 7,000 AFIT now. Over 4 million have been distributed and last time we checked 110,000 SP delegated... Making it roughly around $0.02 per AFIT. Not bad for a month and a half delegation so far.
Anyway, have a think about it as its linked to Steemit and like we said we use it as a (almost) daily ulog.

Appreciate all these info! it's a good passive income on that 1:1 daily. I have only been inactive a few months and a lot has happened already! I walk to and from work daily so I think I can make use of it :)

Yes the Steem ecosystem is always looking to improve itself. As SMTs look to be initiated next year, different communities can start their own tokens to reward their users. The Actifit application is a great way to reward those who are fit and active. It's now 1 : 0.9. The annoying thing is that the app doesn't record the steps as well as other apps. You will have to walk double the amount....5,000 steps on Actifit is actually 10,000 steps or at least that's what it feels like.
