While all of you are out and about jogging to get your steps in today I would like to take this opportunity to jog your MINDS.
What might happen if you asked yourself a new or different question today?
Think about it... A question is sort of like a path for your mind to travel.
Could it be the beaten path isn't the one that will lead you to where you would like to go?
Well... The answer is a simple one. Ask a different question to get to a different answer. This is where innovation and ideas that change the world are born... out of new and improved questions!
As the years go by I have slowly awoken to the fact that I am becoming a relativist. Much of what people think about these days seems to be polarized around the issues of what they think right and wrong or black and white is.
Could it be that thinking your right isn't the right way to think about things? For one... a mind who has decided that they are right doesn't continue to search for answers. They have arrived so why should they?
I believe that much of life is more about pros and cons than rights and wrongs... In fact I have found that the opinion of right and wrong can be a divider rather than something that brings people together.
By stating an absolute one ends up driving a wedge of segregation that insulates the individual from potentially learning the things they don't know about that others with differing opinions might share with them.
In the information age it is not what you know but what you do not know that changes the game or ends it.
With today's systems of trustless consensus more and more people are looking for people to agree with them than they are looking for answers... In my opinion, I believe that this could be a drastic mistake... Perhaps this could even be the most common mistake being made in the world today!
Have you ever been talking with someone and they say something along the lines of, "I know RIGHTTTT!?" or "RIGHHHHTTTT!?"
It's nice that this person is agreeing with you... But what if there's more to it than that?
I have noticed this phrase cropping up more and more within the conversations of our generation. To me this indicates that our current society is looking for consensus around key topics. They are looking for people to agree with them...
Could this mindset be one of the byproducts of the internet and the information age? Could having endless access to the well of wisdom and a simple clickity clack of a Google search be warping how we perceive "truth"?
Are people tapped into the vastness of the internet really gaining access to the valuable insight of all that information? Or is the endless conflicting signals creating to much noise. So much so that it is easier to simply skim along the surface and only go 1 Google page deep in their queries?
How about you? Are you confused by all the conflicting information out there? Do you feel an implicit and underlying anxiety when you think about the future?
So here's the thing I have been pondering over the last few years...
"How do you know what you don't know?"
This seems like a worthy question to be asking although many might say it is an impossible one... I would disagree.
I think the better questions you are able to formulate the better quality life you are able to create for yourself in all aspects. Cultivating a sense of curiosity and becoming a life long learner seems, to me, to be pretty important to living a successful life.
Perhaps rather than cutting off thought with delusions of rightness it might be better to stop all that.
What about asking questions like this one instead:
Why do I think I'm right?
or
How do I think I'm right?
Perhaps then the thoughts produced would direct us towards more thought out and intentional solutions. Better answers.
I think that healthy MINDS are able to zoom in and zoom out simultaneously. It's all about right and left brain thinking and the ability to switch rapidly between them.
What do you think?
So! This is where I will leave off today... I would still like to share a couple more things about the SPIRIT health compounder but consider this to be an sort of introduction to the MIND health compounder!
Thank you for taking the time to read and follow along!
See you all tomorrow!

Great stepping Wil😎. And what a thought provoking write up. I have to agree that knowing what you don't know is pretty hard. However, you have to keep an open mind and be curious to learn something new every day.
Learning new stuff is like an exercise to the mind that opens up new paths in the brain. Studies have shown that this keeps Alzheimer's disease at bay.
Also highly educated people mostly live longer and make better choices. Closing your mind and being ignorant is very expensive/fatal in the long run.
Wishing you a fun and active Wednesday ahead 👍 😁
