Actifit [April 21 2019] THE START OF A NEW WEEK

It has been a restful weekend for me! How about you all? Are you ready to take on a new week!?

I spent the time catch up on sleep, organizing the house, and getting my office back to where it needs to be.

I find that when I’m working on big projects I can tend to “live like an animal”. The focus big projects require leave little time or energy for anything else. It’s hard because what seems to be a normal thing of consequence has got to be sidelined come hell or high water... if it doesn’t move the project closer to completion then it’s a distraction and needs to be treated as such.

But when the project is completed... everything else that DEMANDED my attention comes crashing down like a wave 🌊 caring everything with it. Being in the zone and completing the important fells a lot like surfing 🏄 or snowboarding 🏂. The momentum is the wave or the downward slope of the mountain... and behind you is the energy from the wave or the power of the mountain.

The wave 🌊 and the mountain 🏔 done care about the puny human riding it’s surface. Time rushes forward caring you with it! Punishing those who don’t respect or understand the urgency of that next breath of air.

Anyways... I’m still learning how to catch waves, size up angles of attack, and cycle through each sequence of innovating ideas... and right now! Recovery is vital to getting to the top of the next mountain or riding the next wave.

So how long do you take between tackling your next project or focus idea? Is a weekend enough or do you spread things out s little more than that?

For me... it’s all about listening to the little inner voice. I know that if I’m excited about something I’m going to have enough energy to carry it through...

Speaking of which...

My #Seven77 Push-Up Challenge has stalled admittedly... I’m not one to give up or hang my head. I’m the kind of fellow who just picks up and starts over! I think the part that I underestimated was the dedication required to post up the push-up video each day. I have no problem shooting video content... it’s taking the time to edit and then post it. That’s the tricky part to this challenge...

Anyways... I’m saying all this to let you know that my first go at 77 days of posting a 7 pushup video has failed... and that’s alright because I’m going to take another run at this by starting over from day 1.

So how about you guys? What do you do when you fail or make a mistake? Are you likely to give up and forget about things? Or do you look honestly and yourself and take another run at it? Who are you and what do you stand for?

Our lives are burning like candles... shedding light on the world. I chose to burn a brightly as I can each and every day... and today is no different!

Welcome back Wil, hopefully that resting did you lots good. Nice report you wrote out today 🙌. It is human to fail or stall or get tired. When it happens to me I always look back and try to learn from the situation. Because there's always a lesson to learn from our experiences in life.
The biggest trick is to dust yourself off and try again. Procrastinating or keeping it shelved for another day piles on the stress.
With my seven77 push ups, I chose to do the at the end of my day. I find that it works well for me. But you are right about the whole editing and uploading process, can be quite a bummer 😱
