Walked through garden puttering and pulling weeds, checked in on baby hummingbird nest. The 2 chicks are fattening up nicely and fill the nest cup completely. Showing feathers now and from the side, beaks are visible jutting out.
Had my friend 'Tiny' (@unpacka-genie) come through the garden for a tour of my space. She left with plants, seeds, and a purse full of 'goodies'. I can always tell a real plant nut by the amount of stuff they cone out of the garden with. A budding ethnobotanist, I took her to the front yard and showed her my mugworts and horehound patch, from which she happily accepted rooted cuttings of.
I will be packing my suitcases tonight and getting on a plane to Tx tomorrow.
Cant wait to hug my lil sister and visit with my aunties, uncle and cousins.

More stuff :) Make sure you take some garden pictures so you can be part of the garden corner. It will be fun to see the transformation. BTW. there is a list of HOA approved plants that also fulfill the permaculture wants and needs :)
