THE LIFE OF TOM HARDY (SHORT)

Born in 15 September 1977, Edward Thomas Hardy is an English actor and producer. His film debut was in “Black Hawk Dawn” in 2001. Other notable films are the science fiction film “Star Trek:Nemesis” in 2002 , biographical psychological drama “Bronson” in 2008 , the crime film “RocknRolla” in 2008,the sports drama “Warrior” in 2011, “Spy” in 2011, “The Revenant” in 2015 and some others. He portrayed "Mad" Max Rockatansky in the post-apocalyptic film “Mad Max: Fury Road” in 2015, and both of the Kray twins in the crime thriller ”Legend” in 2015. He has appeared in three Christopher Nolan films: the science fiction thriller “Inception” in 2010, the superhero film “The Dark Knight Rises” in 2012, as Bane, and the action-thriller “Dunkirk” in 2017, based on the British evacuation in World War II.

He was born in Hammersmith, London, the only child of artist and painter Anne(Barrett) and novelist and comedy writer Edward Hardy. Hardy was brought up in East Sheen, London. He studied at Tower House School, Reed's School, and Duff Miller Sixth Form College. To further his acting ambition, Hardy later studied at Richmond Drama School, and subsequently at the Drama Centre London. He named Gary Oldman as his "hero", adding that he imitated scenes from the actor while at drama school.

About his carrer. Tom Hardy has won in 1998 The Big Breakfast's Find Me a Supermodel competition at age 21. In September 1998 he joined Drama Centre London, and was taken out early after winning the part or US Army Private John Jovec in the award winning “Band of Brothers”. He made his film debut in Ridley Scott`s 2001 war thriller “Black Hawk Down”. In 2007, he appeared in a drama based on a true story, “Stuart: A Life Backwards”. He played the lead role of Stuart Shorter, a homeless man who had been subjected to years of abuse and whose death was possibly a suicide.

In 2014, Hardy starred in the film “The Drop” alongside James Gandolfini, in what would be the latter's final appearance in a feature film before his death. Hardy also joined the cast of the BBC series “Peaky Blinders” in its second series. He portrays Alfie Solomons, the head of a Jewish gang and runner of a distillery which disguises itself as a bakery. In 2015 he starred in “Mad Max: Fury Road”, “Legend” and “The Revenant” witch brought him great success and he will also be starring in the upcoming movie “Venom”.
