Mariah Carey ate Mac & Cheese for months. The Rock only had $7 to his name. Others slept in the cars and couch hopped. Some went for days without eating because they had no money.
These are the stories we hear about our favorite actors, entertainers, & singers. We use them as fuel for our own fires. Well, some of us do. In today's society, I don't comprehend the nostalgic lure of being a starving artist. I find no comfort in being broke until I make it big. There are many ways to generate a passive income whilst pursuing one's dreams.
I am still on a slight hiatus from acting. My focus now is on building a passive income that will sustain me when I go back into auditioning.
Helping my fellow artists snap out of the old mindset is difficult. Many believe that being broke and doing gigs for free is "paying their dues". No it's not. It's people taking advantage of an old stereotype.
It's time to break out of the old ways. Start learning how to generate an income without having to take on an extra job. There is no pride in overlooking these ways, going broke, and then hoping you making big. Are you plotting your sob story for an interview that may never happen? Stop!
You have options. Seek them!

Best of luck building the channel and staying focused on acting. I was doing background work for fun recently and got small glimpse at a lot of hard working underappreciated actors.

Thanks for the well wishes!! Yes there are so many under appreciated actors. And also many aspiring actors who don't realize how grueling it is to be an actor.
