The random acts of kindness : Meet gegeji, the deaf and dumb guy with a perfectionist mind.

Hi everyone.

I'm glad to be here once again this week to present to you another act of kindness.

Our sole purpose for starting this initiative is to touch lives and see them changing for better. I'm glad for the success so far.

I wish to keep doing this no matter what.

Gegeji is a very popular guy in my area, hardly will a day pass without me setting my eyes on him except if I travel.

I've been seeing people making jest of him as a result of his condition. He's a deaf and dumb guy, but his passion for perfection has forced him to suffer in the hand of many of our neighbors who mistaken his good act for naughtiness.

I don't really know his real name, but people normally call him gegeji as a result of the sound he made each time he force himself to talk.

If you put something where you should not, be sure to meet it in another rightful location except if gegeji is not around.... Smile

This particular attitude has brought him so much criticism, nobody love him for this attitude, they believe he's doing it out of wickedness, and they all treat him badly as a result.

I'm a type that always want to know why people behave in certain way before I call them good or bad. I've been looking for opportunity to spend time with this guy to know why he behave in such a manner.

As God would have it, I have the time today, and he is around. When I stepped out of the house in the morning, the very first person I saw was him.

He made a sign of hunger to me, so I went back to the room to give him token for food. He collected the money with lots of excitement in his heart and went his way.

I never see him again until this evening.

I saw him sitting on the floor, so I sat very close to a spot where I can see him and watch all of his actions

A motorcycle was packed in front of the house, and the owner was fixing things on it, immediately this man left, gegeji stood from where he was sitting, to fix properly the side cover that was left dangling by the owner

When he stood up, I wanted to challenge him, but I find a means of keeping myself calm in other to be able to see what he was about to do. To my greatest surprises, he fixed the cover properly.

When the owner of the bike came around and met him touching the bike, he wanted to give him the beating of his life, I have to intervene and explain how gegeji was trying to help.

I was able to convince this man and some of our neighbors who met us discussing his issue.

I hope they all change their perspective about this good hearted guy.

Never again would I allow anybody to touch him in my present.

Now, I know why he behave the way he does. I hope many more people do the same
