Adblocker in Android

in adblocker •  7 years ago

Your app not from the Google play store where it would get vetted. So how do we know isn't secretly intercepting our network traffic and stealing all our passwords, bitcoin keys and such?

As blocking is good - it can save you a bunch of network traffic but I prefer to use the Brave browser or a commercially available VPN.

Sort Order:

1st of all this app will be avalable in playstore tomorrow and 2nd it is not actually a vpn (ur data is not re-routing through server actually it is just creating vpn over ur local network for ads filtering) .. so no question of data stealing and finally it is free

Thanks for the clarification. That helps a lot and sounds like a clever idea. I guess you can turn block the ads via DNS blocking. Please post again when it is in the app store.
