For some, it's their first time, others, their first dollar. There really is no way to know which time will be one time to many... the simple truth is... Steemit is addicting.
is it all about the money?
It gets your attention that's for sure, but my question wasn't is it about the money. It's about how much money.
With changes made to platform to date, as well as plans of what is being discussed... I think it is fair to say we will see steady growth and likely a tipping point that results in large scale growth. As the community expands we will leave this content desert.
i'm sorry to be the one to tell you this....
Mediocrity is probably not going to be well rewarded much longer. I can think of a dozen quality content providers that would be thrilled with $300 pretty regularly every post, $150 of that up front, $150 built up in an investment portfolio that pays interest like watching seconds on a clock. Now, view this from my perspective.... I'm the idiot that has looked listened and done his best to learn about content and communication.... and everyone else got paid. Idiot move!
but....
I kinda think I am ready. Between us few here, I haven't cracked $10 on a post yet. I have had some comments that have done well as I do put in effort to my responses.... oh! I read the post also. I am saying I am ready for what steemit will be. A source of great content, provided by professionals. I will still be here, picking at the crumbs while I continue to watch.... while I continue to learn.
oh!!!!
$0.35. That's how much I think it will take for someone new to the site to become addicted. It's kind of a "oh shit, that same crap I put on facebook gave me something?" moment.

Doesn't take long. Looking forward to it spreading out more. Lower rewards in general probably, but just be nice to have people who aren't fully aware of the game either (vote at 30, bots etc). Looking forward to the social side of it.
