Addiction is a complex and chronic disease that usually affects the brain and body. Common symptoms are failed attempts to get rid of it, despite the knowledge of its consequences, loss of self-control, and constant use of substance. Addiction damages the society surrounding the addict such as his family, school, life and workplace. People usually do not plan on drug addiction, but when they first take drugs they like feeling, believe in their ability to control the amount and amount of substance abuse, and when they reach the point of extreme addiction, the drug becomes more important than basic needs such as food and sleep.
