Facebook oferă recompense hackerilor!!!!! Multi dintre utilizatorii de Facebook se plang in legatura cu lacunele de securitate, ba chiar si compania a recunoscut in mai multe randuri ca nu detine cea mai buna solutie pentru toate problemele intalnite, de aceea a gasit o solutie inedita pentru a rezolva toate aceste probleme.

Ca multe alte companii de renume (printre care Yahoo sau Google) Facebook a inceput sa ofere infractorilor cibernetici care dau o mana de ajutor sau sparg anumite baze de date sume de bani. Asta pentru a ajuta compania sa rezolve problemele de securitate.

Intr-un interviu acordat celor de la The Verge, Fred Wolens, membru al echipei de securitate Facebook, explica:

“Internetul este ostil, trebuie sa te astepti ca oamenii vor incerca sa-ti sparga securitatea”

Se vehiculeaza ca hackerii care reusesc sa adune bug-uri primesc pana la 400.000 de dolari, in functie de importanta problemei. Exista insa si “premii” de doar 500 de dolari, fiind vorba despre probleme minore. Facebook ar fi cerut ajutorul a peste 150 de infractori cibernetici din peste 30 de tari, ba chiar 50 dintre acestia au devenit “clienti fideli” ai companiei.
