Axar Patel is an Indian cricketer who plays as an all-rounder. He was born on January 20, 1994, in Anand, Gujarat, India. Axar made his debut in domestic cricket for Gujarat in 2012 and made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut in 2013 for the Mumbai Indians.
He is primarily known for his left-arm spin bowling, but he is also a handy lower-order batsman. Axar was selected for the Indian cricket team for the first time in 2014, but he did not make his debut until 2017. Since then, he has played for India in both Tests and limited-overs cricket.
Axar has had some notable performances in his career, including taking 11 wickets in a Test match against England in February 2021, which helped India win the match by 10 wickets. He has also played for the Delhi Capitals in the IPL, where he has been a consistent performer with both bat and ball.
