An admirable person, and what makes one ?

Have you ever looked at the great role models of the world and wondered to yourself why and how are these people such an inspiration to the masses ? perhaps it is their actions or maybe their way of life ? what criteria determines a role model ? well, in general a role model is someone who inspires you to become the best version of yourself, but identifying what specifically makes them so is going to give us an even better insight.

Role models have a couple of common qualities that make them admirable. To begin with, generosity, which becomes especially hard once someone becomes rich, because then they slowly lose touch with poor people. One example of a role model demonstrating this quality despite all of its hardships is Bill Gates which together with his wife created the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation dedicated to the aid of all sort of charities. Secondly, is commitment to doing the good and abiding by a set of principals and morals. A great example of such honorable quality is the prophet Muhammad PBUH, he was the sort of man that would live by his words and would always stand for what is righteous. Thirdly , is strong will and dedication to achieve a specified goal. Take Ghandi for instance, he kept on peacefully resisting the british colonialists until he was eventually successful at getting rid of them. Lastly is selflessness and sacrifice, lack of such a quality makes it very hard for someone to be admirable. The best and simplest example is the hero that we like to call mom, they are the ones who had to withstand 9 months worth of pain, hardship and labour just the grant us the biggest gift of all which is life. they also gave up their time, effort and convenience for the sake of raising up their children and that surely makes them worthy of being called role models.

In conclusion, a role model is a person that pushes you to improve and get better. And what constitutes such a person you might ask ? it is for them to be charitable, to do what is right, to have sheer willpower, and to be willing to sacrifice what is needed for the sake of greater good.
