Flower or flower (Latin: flos) is a sexual reproduction tool in flowering plants (divisio Magnoliophyta or Angiospermae, "covered seed plants"). In flowers there are reproductive organs, namely stamens and pistils. Flowers can appear singly or together in a series. The interest that comes together is called a compound interest or inflorescence. In some species, compound interest may be regarded as a single (flower) interest, for example in Anthurium and sunflower. The unit of interest that composes a compound interest is called floret. Flowers are organs in plants that have a usefulness as a place of generative proliferation through the process of fertilization and pollination. The true flower is the modification of leaf buds or bud shoots where the shape, color, and arrangement are adjusted for the interest of the plant. Botanically, flowers are part of the plant to produce seeds. Pollination and fertilization take place on flowers. After fertilization, the flowers will grow further forming the fruit. In flowering plants, fruit is the structure that carries and protects the seeds.
Function of Flowers on Plants.
The function of interest is to attract pollinators to plants to help fertilize so plants create seeds. Bright colors, strong scents and sweet nectar all work together to attract birds, bees and other insects to move pollen from one flower to another. After pollination occurs, the flowers develop into seeds. Normal interest has three basic functions: Flowers provide a platform for the sexual reproduction system of plants (andresium - males and ginesium - females) - both single and two-house flowers. In flower pollen and ovules are usually produced through the process of meiosis. Pollination occurs and the ovules are formed into seeds, with the swollen ovaries usually forming into fruit (or seed pods). Provide a mechanism to attract pollinators to facilitate pollination (petals) - one- two home flowers. Flowers provide visual attractiveness for many pollinators (insects, birds, animals etc.), this is also sometimes associated with smells like nectar-like smell. This as a "bait" to attract insects which then transfer pollen between the flowers and facilitate pollination (either cross-pollination or self-pollination). Provides a platform for fertilized ovules to grow and be distributed as fruit and seeds of one- and two- The biological function of the flower is the sexual organ, as a container for the unification of male gametes (microspores) and females (macrospores) to produce seeds. That the flower is analogous to the sexual organs in the new animals was scientifically recognized in the 17th century in Europe. Some flowers have a bright color that serves as the attractant of pollinating animal animals. Some other flowers produce heat or a distinctive aroma, also aiming at luring animals to help with pollination. Flowers can also be considered as organs to survive under adverse conditions for growth. A number of plants will soon form flowers if they experience water shortages or low temperatures. The best known example is the Bougainvillea paper flower. Flowers reduce metabolism and when plants die, seeds are expected to have formed as a survival effort. Humans have long been captivated by flowers, especially colorful ones that have a cultural meaning. Flowers become one of the determinants of the value of a plant as an ornamental plant.
