Meet again with my post. This time I want to write about the importance of mangrove forest conservation.
And I invite all the steemians to love the green environment. Let's see my discussion below

What is mangrove forest ?

The mangrove forest is a coastal forest ecosystem consisting of a group of trees that can live in a high salinity environment. One of the characteristics of mangrove plants has roots that poke to the surface. The appearance of mangroves is like a stretch of bush that separates the land from the sea.

The functions and benefits of mangroves

Mangrove forests have important functions and benefits for the forest, water and natural ecosystems. Mangrove forest functions or benefits can be viewed or viewed from the physical, biological, and economic aspects.

• Physical benefits and functions include :
  Retaining or preventing coastal abrasion.
  Deterrent or prevent intrusion (infiltration) of sea water to the mainland.
  The arrest prevents storms and winds that are loaded with salt.
  Reduce the content of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the air (air pollution).
  Inhibitors of pollutants such as toxins in coastal waters.

• Biological benefits and functions include :
  Place of life of marine life.
  Food sources for the surrounding species.
  The living places of various other animals such as apes, birds and other animals.

• Economic benefits and functions include :
  Place of recreation and tourism.
  Sources of wood materials for buildings and firewood.
  Food producers such as fish, shrimp, crab, and others.
  Sources of local people's livelihoods such as fishpond fishermen.

So many benefits and functions contained from the mangrove forest. But if the conservation of mangrove forest is not preserved then the impact will be otherwise.

Conservation of mangrove forests is necessary because of the impact that occurs if mangrove forests are damaged.
As is done in the area of mangrove forest located in Langsa, East Aceh, Indonesia
Mangrove forest areas in place of tourist destinations. And introduce how to preserve the mangrove for every visitor
