Constipation

Remember, once you can't poop for a few days, it will hurt (smell) like hell. Most people have the same pain. According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, constipation is one of the most common gastrointestinal problems, affecting 42 million people in the United States. This is very common in women, especially during pregnancy or after the baby is born.

Reasons for Constipation
There are two basic reasons for constipation. Most of us only consume 15 grams of fiber per day, although experts recommend at least 25grams of fiber per day. Most of us do not drink enough water, which can also lead to constipation.

Foods Helping in Constipation

Prunes

Prunes (Plum) or if you prefer a better name, dried plum is the first food you think of in constipation. First of all, they are rich in fiber. It is these nutrients that increase the quality of your stool so that it can move along the path of happiness. There is about 1 gram of fiber trimmed.

Popcorn

For the afternoon's delicious food prefer snacks, and popcorn, Dr. Gina Sam, director of the Center for Gastrointestinal Movement at Sinai Hospital, recommended. This is an easy way to add more fiber to your day. Three cups of fried corns stuffed water contain 3 grams of only 93 calories with high amount of fiber that helps in stool movement.

Water

Dr. sam recommends that not only fiber but the water consumption is also play an important role in controlling constipation. Recommended daily consumption should be about 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Not only water, but also consume foods having high amount of moisture.

Flaxseeds

Two grams of fiber is present in one tablespoon of ground flaxseed. It may look a bit, but the beauty of flaxseed is that they can easily throw food for punch fibers every day. Just add a spoon of flaxseed in salad top, oats or smoothie.

Oatmeal

One half cup of dry oats contains 2 grams of soluble fiber and 2 grams of insoluble fiber., Soluble fibers dissolve in water and form gel-like substances while Insoluble fibers increase the volume of feces and help the food pass through the stomach and intestines faster.

thanks for the information. my mil used to have this before and we gave bananas but ultimately, she had to be given medicinal syrups

That happens because of digestion issues. Thanx for the information btw
