Your Talent SHOULD Be Worth Something!

What happened to the good ole Steemit contest days?

We have wondered the same thing... which is why we have decided to change it!  Anyone can sit and contemplate on why,when,how,who,or what happened.  It takes true leadership to lead the way.  This is what we here at ADSactly plan on doing.  Doing all we can to bring back all the best that Steemit has to offer.

 With this said, we have decided to take the leap and would like to announce the creation of this platforms very own TALENT SHOW unlike any others!  While we have seen open mics, rap challenges, meme challenges, and almost every other kind of challenge we have yet to see a completely OPEN TALENT BASED SHOW! Think you have what it takes to win the top prize? 

YOU JUST MIGHT BE RIGHT! And there is only one way to find out, BY COMPETING!

 Submission Rules: (subject to minor changes)

  1. Create a post with your contest entry
  2. First tag must be adsactlygottalent
  3. Comment on the official contest post with a link to your contest entry post.  (if its a video, direct embedding is preferred for ease of viewing.)
  4. 1 ENTRY PER PERSON! 
  5. Contest entries accepted right up until PAYOUT of post!
  6. You CANNOT first place more than once in one season. *insert complaints* You will see why very soon.  You can win first, then second, second, second, etc. 

Judging Rules:

  1. There will be a panel of judges, from all sects of the steemsphere. (TBA)
  2. They will judge based on 3 criteria:
    1. Skill/difficulty Level
    2. Presence (do you take us on a journey, do you engage us?)
    3. Execution

Prize Schedule:

  1. 15 sbd
  2. 10 sbd
  3. 5 sbd

These prizes are scheduled to increase with the adoption of this contest back into the steemsphere!  (shout out to @bambam808 for the original creation of Steemits Got Talent)

    Hello adsactlygotalent! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

    1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
    2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
    3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
    4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
