Their Chief Commercial Officer talked about Playboy needing to give their customers more flexible payment options stating:
“This innovation gives the millions of people who enjoy our content, as well as those in the future who participate in our casual gaming, AR and VR platforms, more choices with regard to payment and in the case of VIT, an opportunity to be rewarded for engaging with Playboy offerings.”Although, there has been some trouble in integrating cryptocurrency and the adult entertainment industry, as Bitpay (a primary Bitcoin payment processor) recently updated their terms and banned explicit content.
Despite Bitpay blocking adult entertainment, Vice Industry Token tweeted the partnership as Playboy gears up to accept crypto.

Playboy.TV will be the first place that the token and cryptocurrency wallet is integrated.
They will be accepting cryptocurrency and VIT coins for exclusive content, while also rewarding viewers for watching free content, commenting and liking certain videos, which they can then use the exclusive content.
