In many 'christian churches' pastors are teaching that it is 'ok' to divorce your husband/wife because you can always get married to someone else. This, however; is not what Jesus said in Mark 10:11. Jesus calls it adultery. The Apostle Paul quoting the teachings of the Lord explains in detail this means a woman divorced must remain single or go back to the husband she divorced. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 and further we see that in Romans 7:1-4 that only death of the husband allows for the woman to marry another (aka widowed)
whatever 'exceptions' are taught (from abusive husband, abandonment, even the strange phrase of 'not being under bondage') will not contradict these very explicit verses.
aside from cultural Jewish traditions found in Matthew that allow for the 'engaged' man to 'divorce' his wife before the wedding ceremony if she is found to have been fooling around while he was away for a year preparing the home for the new wife or the reference in 1 Cor 7:15 that talks about not having to drag a spiritually dead spouse along in your spiritually alive ministry 'not under bondage' therefore you are free to live single and server the Lord with ALL your time (not wasting on the wife) are ripped out of context by modern seminary harlots we find leading our 'church'
