it's steem week, that means it's questions all this week about the steem platform!

i'm looking forward to having a chat tomorrow with the marketing team over on frame.io about what i'm trying to achieve with the platform for a bigger push and outreach next year, it's a lot for one person to manage at the moment but i am working through the apathy excuses and just getting shit done, i'll be shipping a lot over the next few weeks and those building blocks will form the ampsteem/amplify project -- i've been looking at it all in terms of rss feeds, twitter accounts, steempress (batch of wordpress sites with affiliate marketing blocks (so it sustains itself) but i think i can pull it off.

today's question comes out of the fact that we all know that more can be done to actively be promoting steem and it's blockchain on a daily basis -- while the dev's and steemit work on the core code and trimming the turkey fat on the witness code we should not be resting on our laurels (or carols) and just getting on with the job at had that all of us in the community can do! promoting this chain! :)

as we get closer to the christmas period break i'm expecting more people to drop off, the fact that anyone is around still around this period is great, december is not normally the best time to do this but i wanted to switch up the advent calendar this year, january should have us all reset again, maybe i'll do them every three months, starting in feb! :)

as i mentioned in my video today, there is a mass/batch of opportunity ahead and for me it's about making sure i have the pipeline processes locked down, what's covered with what costs, where i spent my time, what platforms i put my time and effort into, how i build lean and find a way to effectively support those things without being overwhelmed, the day to day confined of being a digital worker that wants to play with everything eh?

right now it's.. .

clients > residuals > course creation > web hosting > services > affiliate marketing traffic and crypto savings into platforms that really interest me in their longevitiy when all the centralized platforms start to implode, it's coming and it's gonna happen fast i think when we get into 2019, so get planned now for where you want to be in 2020! :)

Consider these when posting your video

• 16:9 landscape works better for an editor than portrait (but i'll still include it if you make it that way)
• don't watch the others in the day until you have uploaded yours (let your internal voice come through)
• there is no right or wrong way to answer the question
• aim for 1:30 > 3:00 minutes maybe, but if your on a tear, go for it, i'll pick out the awesome stuff
• always think sound quality, be aware of background noise (bad video is fine if the audio is super clean)
• this is an empowerment network, treat it like it's the last node network on planet earth.
