A visit to Kafir Kot Temples

in adventure •  7 years ago  (edited)

Our college planned a trip to the old temples of Kafir Kot last week. Some of my friends and I made a plan to explore this place as we never visited this place even this place is just 40-50 Km/s away from my house. This place contains five temples which are now almost ruins. But still the place is worth visiting.

This place totally shocked me with its architecture. The place was built on mountains with a huge base of a platform below. But the thing which was amazing was the architecture of temples. There is no concrete or iron used in the building. But still after so much bashing the temples are so strong that one can't imagine. The design and art used in these temples give us a look of our history that how buildings were made. It was not the power of some materialistic thing but the power of mind that made so strong foundations. These foundations are even now strong more than concrete.

Alas! we have moved far away from these foundations, that's why our foundations are hollow and can be broken with little jerks. May God bless us.
This is beautiful!25994983_845744208929860_1969862852043828459_n.jpg
