What is Bungee Jumping
Bungee jumping is high adventurous sport activity which involves jumping from a tall structure while connected to a large strong elastic cord. Usually tall structure is a bridge, building or sometimes crane, hot air balloon, helicopter. The person with a long strong elastic cord attached to this body jumps and experiences the thrilling free fall and finally due to the stretching and snapping of the cord rebounds happens few times. Obviously bungy jumping is not for ones who has weaker heart, no double it will be incredible experience for those who have guts and brave heart.

1. The Last Resort, Nepal (Bhote kosi bridge)
Just three -four hours away from the Kathmandu, the Last Resort is the only place in Nepal to enjoy bungy. The thrilling jump from the specially designed suspension bridge over the bhote kosi can be the best experience you would ever had in your life. Bhote koshi is also popular for white water rafting and canyoning. The staffs there will take your still pictures as well as full jumping video of your session, which you can purchase later.
2. Victoria Falls Bridge, Zimbabwe
The Bridge over the Zambezi River below the Victoria Falls, The Victoria Falls Bridge is one of the best place for bungee jumping in the world as it plummets 364 feet to the Zambezi river. This bridge links Zimbabwe and Zambia as the Zambezi river is the border for the two countries.
3. Bloukrans Bridge, South Africa
Located near Nature's Valley, Western Cape, South Africa, the Bloukrans Bridge is 216 meters arch bridge above the Bloukrans River. The river is the border between the eastern cape and western cape. At 219 meters this is on the the highest commercially operated bungee jump.
4. Niouc, Switzerland
The town in the Val d'Anniviers Switzerland located above 902 meters above sea level, is the highest bungy jumping (190 meters) in the Europe.
5. Macau Tower, China
Macau Tower measuring 338 meters in height, property of China, is used for various adventurous activities recently. The view of Macau looks amazing from the tower. Aj Hakckett recorded the second highest commercial sky jump in the world from this tower, jumping from 233 meters high.
How bungy got started?
On 1 April 1979, members of the Oxford University Dangerous Sports Club, jumped the first modern bungy from the Clifton Suspension Bride in Bristol, 250 foot high. They were promptly arrested but continued with jumps, which later became popular worldwide. A. J. Hackett and Chris Allum opened the first commercial site in Ohakune, New Zealand in early 1988.
