Massasauga Provincial Park is my most traveled-to backcountry camping spot...and I just booked another return trip today. It was my very first backcountry trip, which is probably why I remain so fond of the place. The last time I was there was two years ago. Here are some shots from that trip:
I've never had an easy paddle across Blackstone Harbour - there is usually a good breeze coming off of Georgian Bay. The paddle and portage up to Little Blackstone Lake is somewhat arduous if the water level is low. However, the views, the solitude, and the experience always make it worth coming back.
