EXPERIENCE BIKANER

in adventure •  7 years ago

In the train to Bikaner we sneaked in the 3A sleeper class because of some contacts ( in India everything!!!)
They had pillows, blankets, air conditioning!!

Waking up in the morning 5 am caused by switched on light and loud indian people I started the day grumpy before I had some sleep in the hotel again.

The hotel was very unclean, broken and pigeons scratching on the window.

After visiting the homeopathy and getting some medicine FOR FREE!!!! we went for daal (curry with lentils) and rice.
Of course not spicy and I was glad to eat something tasty after a long time.

Medicine smelled like pepper and Muscat and tasted…well not that tasty but made me feel better.

In the evening we went to the wedding. There was kind of a music truck with loud bass indian music mixture while people walked behind it ( men and women seperated) and mostly men bounced to the music.

Again to a food party where I mostly ate kind of marzipan sweets and a bit curry with rice and chapati.
Medicine again after every meal. Next day after super tasty soup and a bit aloo curry (potatoe curry) and chapati I visited some temple.

Then walked a bit around the market and discovered my favourite sweets!! Made of lentils .

The train back to Jaisalmer left at 23.05.
It was kind of cool outside cause it rained the afternoon….MOSQUITO TIME! ( since I used odomos cream no bites anymore!!).

The train shacked a lot but I fell asleep and woke up in the morning with stomach pain and a sore throat …Ac -.-!

Happy travelling,
DANA :)
