Nepal is to tackle overcrowding on the world’s highest mountain by placing greater restrictions on expeditions to the summit of Mount Everest. There are just 14 mountains in the world that have peaks that sit above 8,000 metres, with most of them in the Himalayan ranges of Nepal.
