Steigen - A night on top of a mountain

in adventure •  6 years ago

On our recent trip to the Northern Norway this summer, we stopped by a place called Steigen right in between Narvik and Bodø. Steigen lies just by the coast close to the famous Lofoten (mountain) wall, as we call them in Norway.

We had planned to sleep on top of a mountain there, but as the weather turned out we experienced a total white-out on top and we slept in the fog/mist/cloud. Too bad, but still an awesome experience.

Bentley went bored, so we had to entertain him a bit ;-) (and yes, that is a cliff straight down there on the right side)

Btw, I didn’t mention the girl in my photos in my introduction blog, but she (as well as Bentley) is also my travel buddy and GF named Linn ;-)

Newfoundlands are great swimmers because of their webbed feet.

Nice scenery in Steigen, and the pictures you have taken capture the beautiful scenery in a very nice way. Bentley is a well behaved and cute dog, and so cute he is with his teddy bear.😀👍Thank you for sharing.

Haha, thanks. You saw the best of him after you provided him with the fish ;-)
