A LIFE IN AN ISLAND

One true Filipina is created by the pure blooded Filipina herself, Maria Glemour C. Montejo. The concept of this blog will be showcasing the beauty of a Filipina in over 7,107 islands in the Philippines.

Philippines is loved by every countries due to its spontaneous beaches that is worldly known.
A beach which you can relax and indulge every moment in the island.

Filipinos are known to be the most hospitable people all over the world and mostly of the population knows how to speak English. Through these traits, there will be no worries in asking direction, getting closer with the natives and exploring what the country has to offer. With this, people can also discover the wonders of the mountainous part of the Philippines.

Maria Glemour Caparoso Montejo is a girl who grew up in the Province of Sogod which is one of the Northern Provinces of the Queen City of the South; Cebu Philippines, whom she thought she was a mermaid who's house was near the ocean and heard all those stories about it.

Even those people who are leaving in the province has the capacity to learn and reach for their dreams. I graduated college which I took up Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting in one of the prestigious school in the Philippines, the University of San Carlos last 2017.

After I graduated college, I immediately got a job as an Accounting Assistant-Accounts Receivable Team in a competitive industry where I valued teamwork and cooperation. I am so blessed in having this job and found new set of colleagues who helped me adjust in this new environment.

We should not be patient in order for us to have a virtue but rather, we strive harder to be a better version of ourselves to make our dreams work.

As I started to explore this world where we need adventure in our daily lives we should make little things happen. I indulge myself in a way a modern Filipina can make a difference to explore what the Philippines has to offer. Promoting the beauty of one's country is my passion and dream to justify the colonization of various countries here in the Philippines and embodying the 7,107 island beaches through my dashing morena skin color.

Despite of this expedition of mine, I still embodied the culture and value of being a Filipina. Being a Filipina, there are too many rules to follow with a mix of ancient and modern culture our parents made sure that this will pass on from generation to generation especially if its only for our own good.

I grew up in a very strict environment and like others I was bothered by these rules, like those golden years my parents made me focus more on studying and spared us from having someone special until we graduated from college and I must admit those days were a mess but we still followed them.

A true definition of Filipina is to never be afraid to showcase your true color because we are unique like them and a true legend of mixed pre-colonial and modern Filipina indeed.
