Kool Adventure Camp in Balamban

Kool Adventure Camp is the first and only fully dedicated Adventure Education Center in the Philippines. Its mission is to equip organizations and individuals with character, competence and citizenship to becomeleaders of change, through powerful learning experiences.

It is an experimental education program that involves outdoor activities with fast paced action and highly engaging challenges in an atmosphere of risk taking set wiyhin a safe environment.It provides opportunities for learning basic values such as open communication, cooperation, collaboration, and trust in an atmosphere of fun. Some activities will take place on the ground while some on elevated structures. These activities are designed to be safe and effective, though these will challenge you to use a wide range of your abilities.

Your choice as to the level of participation will be respected. You will not be asked to do anything you choose not to do. The program also includes a variety of activities for individuals whose level of participation may be limited for medical reasons or any other physical limitations.

Kool Adventure Camp is a youtuh development program of Ramon Aboitiz Foundation under its leadreship and citizenship focus area.

OUR TRIP GOING THERE

To be there in Balamban, we rode a bus together with my schoolmates and teachers. We are so excited to see and experience our fist time camping ever.

It took 4 hours to be there. Actually, there are some shortcuts routes that would only take 2 hours but unfortunately, the roads there are so dangerous to pass and many reported accidents happened there.

This is the view outside the camp. when I saw it, my stress from trip eventually lost and I'm so ecstatic to go inside.

there are 40 campers, ( included me). Before we start the camp, we are divided into two groups. Each tribe must have their group name. We chose "TEAM LION" as we all know that lions were so braved like us. Also, each of us should have a campname and mine is "Garcon Boy" , a french word that when translated into english is Good Boy.

This is me during the camp, trying to conquer my fears and overcome the challenges.

We helped one another.

Because we are so hungry, we went to community building to eat our luch. They has a catering services, so what you will going to do is just to fall in line and they will serve you foods.

Its already 5 O'clock thats why we decide to go to our bunks to sleep early for another adventure . At my back , You can see the Mount Kanlaon in Negros, Philippinnes.

This is our comfortable bedrrom to sleep . I was totally satisfied.

Our three days in adventure camp is very worthwile. To thank out instructors for always guiding us, We offer her a farewell song and dance as a gratitude . We are so grateful that she was our proctor, very kind and generous.

Our Departure

We are so sad because we are leaving this place and also happy because they taught us good characters and values. This place helped us in moulding ourselves. My experience here is priceless. I am so ecstatic and euphoric of my wonderful experiences here. Best memories ever.
