Not indicating that the content you copy/paste is not your original work could be seen as plagiarism.

Some tips to share content and add value:

  • Use a few sentences from your source in “quotes.” Use HTML tags or Markdown.
  • Linking to your source.
  • Include your own original thoughts and ideas on what you have shared.

Repeated plagiarized posts are considered spam. Spam is discouraged by the community, and may result in action from the cheetah bot.

If you are actually the original author, please do reply to let us know!

Thank You!

It is a copy and paste of my own work. I posted to Backcountry post long before I found Steemit. I also planned to repost content from my own blog. The Backcountry post is also on my blog site. Is this going to be a problem? http://its4pm.blogspot.com

Thanks for your response.

In order to prevent identity theft, identity deception of all types, and content theft we like to encourage users that have an online identity, post for a website or blog, are creators of art and celebrities of all notoriety to verify themselves. Verified users tend to receive a better reception from the community.

We would like to ask you to add reference or link to your Steemit account on your website backcountrypost.com

You can remove it later, once it is confirmed.

Thank you

Ok. So here's what I did. I edited my post (at the bottom of the post) on backcountrypost .com to indicate my Steemit identity. Note that Backcountrypost.com is NOT my blog site. I only post there occasionally. I also linked my Steemit identity on my personal blog http://its4pm.blogspot.com/p/contact.html on the "about" page. Now I would like to ask you to let me know when you have verified me.

Good enough! Thanks! Sorry it is so complicated.
