Well today was a great day. For most of you who are not familiar to siskiyou county there is a beautiful lake near us it is a 30 min drive from a small town called Yreka.
Im talking about Iron gate lake. This place is absolutely free of charge and the beauty of it is breathtaking. It is known as one of the best places to camp and there is a place just for your RV. They have trails to go bike ridding they have a lodge and so many places to have fun in the sun ...what more could you ask for. Many of the locals take there horses out to strech there legs on the road to Iron Gate. So not only do you get to look at this beautiful lake you get to see the locals enjoying it to.
Well today on are adventure we discoverd a nice little camping spot with easy access to the water. We packed a lunch and are paddle board and the dog and headed out to this wonderful place. This place has the best swimming spots and docs you can hop off of into the lake. Lots of boating docs and more. I dont want to tell you too much cause you have too see it for yourself but what a beauty. Here is some pics from my recent adventure.
