At some point you need to stop running from your pain. At some point you need to sit with it, have a talk with it, listen, discuss a solution or somethimg to try. Treat it like a person, why? Because you are a person and it comes from you.
If your friend was sad you'd do these same steps. So don't treat your self any different.
