Hello Today i will show you how to fix your pendrive or memory card(SD card) which is showing less amount of storage than it actually has.i don’t know why this happen to these devices but i do have faced this problem and below is the way to fix it.repeat the process if it happens again.
Open CMD(command line) on windows.
type”diskpart” and press enter ( a new windows will pop up).
3)in the new window type “list disk” and press enter.
4)Select the drive which you need to fix by typing “select disk 1” then press enter.
5)Then type “clean” and press enter.
- after that create a new partition by typing “create partition primary” and press enter.
7)type “exit” and press enter to finish
8)after this reinsert and try formating your memory card or pendrive after fomating it will show it’s original size
