If you plan to get married, then you better plan not to get divorced. Otherwise, what’s the point? You’ll end up wasting money on lawyers. You’ll absolutely disrupt your finances. And if you have kids, they might have to go to therapy in order to make better sense of the cruel realities of the world.
I sort of agree with you. Imagine if you made 25k a year and don't want to go to college or get a higher paying job, but your spouse makes 120k, is it really both your money or mostly your spouses? The time and work a person is willing to put in is how much they should expect to be paid. (from my perspective)
