Content Creators: Are you Tired of Being Used and Abused?steemCreated with Sketch.

Youtube has demonized you so you can't make money.

Facebook has “Algorythmed you” so your posts don’t get seen.

Twitter… will simply erase your account – if you say anything interesting….

Are you SICK of these corporate shill middle-men telling you what you can and can’t post? To Control whether you will or will not make a living?

Are you sick of supporting platforms that gives exactly 0 shits about you? That collect and sell your personal data? That act with total impunity?

Well I am.

Having build an entire global business just from youtube, I can tell you that it truly was an amazing medium for sharing and free expression. However, recent developments have made it clear that Google’s intentions in their acquisition of youtube are far from noble.

Here’s what’s going on:

Youtube: More and more channels are being de-monetized, users are mysteriously being “disappeared” and sneaky algorithms hiding some content while promoting other content.

Facebook: Certain voice are being drowned out, some groups with views deemed “unacceptable” with the statues quo are just being erased without warning.

Twitter: Users with alternative viewpoints are being ghosted. They can still tweet - but nobody will see it.

These platforms intend to uphold the status quo- and will do whatever it takes to insure only “approved” narratives are heard. And this situation is getting worse, not better.

It’s only a matter of time before certain narratives will be shut out altogether.

Imagine waking up tomorrow and seeing that your youtube account has simply been wiped out of existence?

This becomes more likely every day as all these platforms are becoming more draconian.

So... I just wanted to encourage anybody out there that has anything to say (whether you are already HUGE or just starting out) .... Let's start using alternative, blockchain based platforms to create content and connect with each other.

I'm posting this on one of my favourite places on the Internet....

STEEMIT!

If you found this randomly and are not on Steemit.... open an account and start getting PAID for creating content, or simply curating it while being part of the community!

Couple of other platforms to look out for:

Gab.AI – this site bills itself as the “Uncensored twitter.” You can remain anonymous if you like, or verify your identity (for more credibility) if you so choose. It works great, and it’s user base has been growing steadily since it’s inception.

www.bitchute.com: This site is similar to youtube, but the USERS use TORRENTS to share videos with each other. AMAZING. So the more users have a file the faster you are able to view it. I am @Woke_AF on there.

onG.Social: This site acts as a social media dashboard that allows you to post to facebook/twitter/instagram/youtube all at once.

Other cool features:

  1. Acts a content mirror. Let’s say facebook or twitter totally erased your account - your posts would still be available on onG.social.
2)Say youtube nukes your account - you just upload to any other service (I.E Vimeo) and paste that link straight into onG
3)There's no annoying algorythms stopping your friends from seeing your posts.
    4)They don't sell your data
    5)You can be anonymous

Changes coming Post ICO:
onG will be decentralized
onG will pay creators/users with crypto currency. (For Content + Curation, similar to Steemit)
Content will be verified for truth by community.

+Likely TONS more coming out soon.... (let's keep our eyes open!)

Conclusion:

The old guard, towing the line of oppressive governments and shadowy players will be replaced by savvy entrepreneurs who recognize that we – the people – will not settle for anything other than all of our natural rights.

I predict users will flock to new platforms such as these by the millions.

So.... whoever you are: If you love freedom of expression and do NOT want to be censored... let's spread the word and get our butts away from corporate controlled schill outlets and to platforms that will NOT be used to oppress us.

See you there :)

And... my video rant:

Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.

Thanks for being a quality creator. It has been nice witnessing your growth, from a pick up artist to someone making a deep and meaningful difference in this world, using your influence for good. Beautiful to watch :)
Some (minnows mostly) complain that it is so hard to get noticed here on steemit, but on FB you have to pay to even have your "friends" see you! As an artist, with not much spare money, I much prefer this platform. I can accumulate currency merely from creating content (even if it is a slow process, especially at first) and meet completely new people that I might not have ever had the chance to interact with. It also gives me a great way to send support to activist/leaders that I otherwise would not havre extra cash to support...and it costs me nothing more than my time. I really hope steemit continues to flourish and I am here for the long-haul :)

Thanks for this, just found your work through a comment feed here on Steemit. Upvoted and following you and checking out ong.social... hope you have a great weekend! I do think your really right in how the FB and YouTube platforms are changing. Maybe it's just me waking up but it's a lot more obvious spending time on Steemit that things are shifting and not in a good way.

Awesome the power will be now in the hands of the content creator

Steemit is definitely the future! I think that youtubes days are numbered!!

I came to Steemit to follow certain 'truthers' who were being harassed and demonitized by the increasing fascistic YouTube.
I never had any intention of creating my own content as I assumed this place was a video uploading site. The opportunity to create my own content free of censor has been a revelation for me and I cherish this platform greatly.
Hearing there are other platforms appearing with the same ethos is encouraging.
Let's hope the corporate jackals don't try to grab hold of what we have here and take it down the same road.

Interesting that my gmail treated onG.social like it was spam.
