THE Adelaide Strikers will open their Bash League crusade by facilitating the light Sydney Thunder, who delighted in a last-ball triumph over the Sydney Sixers in the competition's first match of the late spring.
Adelaide could hand presentations to five players, with newcomers Peter Siddle, Billy Stanlake and Rashid Khan all in line to confront the Thunder.
Khan, specifically, is relied upon to have a lot of eyes on him — with the 19-year-old legspinner from Afghanistan producing acclamations for his dazzling showcases this year, including taking a cap trap in the Caribbean Premier League.
The activity gets in progress at 7.40pm (AEDT) from Adelaide Oval.
