Market

There are close to forty enterprise clients using Blocko’s enterprise business solution. These clients include Lotte Card, Hyundai Motors and Korea Exchange. Their application clients have over nine million users with a 45% market share in South Korea. Blocko will form a partnership with Shinhan Financial Group to create an authentication service on AERGO. Shinhan Financial Group has some banks as its subsidiaries. Although, Blocko is only popular in South Korea, unlike Icon, AIon and Qtum, which are enterprise-grade blockchain, but it is also a firm that has deployed over 23 commercialized blockchain systems. This is a feat not many can claim.

Mission

AERGO is a result of Blocko’s mission to put together private blockchains with public networks to facilitate enterprise adoption. AERGO aims to meet the needs of enterprise clients by coming up with a set of protocols and an adoption.

Meet the Team

TheAERGO team is very qualified. They are centralized from Blocko. Having worked on Coinstack, they have enough experience in dealing with enterprise clients. The team is composed of 10 core engineers working on the technological end and five other team member working on marketing efforts and business development. The team comprises of:

Phil Zamani (left) who is the COO of Blocko. He has over twenty years of experience with cloud-based and open sourced software. He has held top-level tech positions in some of the worlds best tech companies among them Big Data and Cloud Business Models as Global Head, Deutsche Telekom’s Cloud Business Unit as Senior VP and Redhat’s Internet Embedded Linux as Global VP of Sales and BD.

The CTO of Blocko, Hun Young Park (middle) is also a member of the AERGO team. He has been the CTO for two years now. He has eleven years of experience working as a software engineer. He works to develop databases and distributed systems for AERGO.

Roderik van der Graaf (right) is an advisor to Blocko. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Lemniscap. Lemniscap is an investment and advisory firm working in the crypto and blockchain space. He has experience of three years working as Managing Director for Caldera Pacific Capital.

The other member of the AERGO team is Blocko’s Founder and CEO, Won Beom Kim (left). He has experience on the development of database management systems.

The CSO of Blocko, Jane Lee (middle) is also a member of the AERGO team. She has six years of experience as a Strategy Manager from Accenture, South Korea.

Alison Shim (right) is the CIO of Blocko. She has five years of experience having worked as a Strategy Consultant for Accenture South Korea. Vincent Zhou, a founder partner of FBG, works as the expert advisor by providing support of the project.
