Wake up to smell the roses.... or I mean that freshly laid snow smell.
Ya know, that fresh, clean air feel... where it bites your nose and lips with the chill of frost.
Woke up hoping to catch some direct Sun rays from the rising Sun, but arose to find the atmosphere still cluttered with low hanging Stratus clouds that cover the whole sky. No direct Sun rise for me today.
Weather Forecast of Precipitation Type For Monday March 20th
Shows there still yet may be another winter storm in the works before I can safely transport my little green organisms to the outside world. I will closely monitor the weather models. The storm that passed over yesterday evening is apparently a lingering storm and will continue to bring a steady breeze to the area, but perhaps no more precipitation.
Indigo is a new found responsibility for me. One I have no problem accepting as she is one awesome dog. Unfortunately, Indie and Burton don't get along yet... Perhaps because Indie is such a large, threatening "looking" dog and Burton always stands his ground. So when Indie charges Burton to play, Burton thinks its an attack and goes into super defense mode.
The sounds of animal claws scratching and sanding against the ceramic tile floor is like nothing else first thing in the morning.
I love snow days like this. Roads are in perfect condition, but everything has a beautiful layer of wind-swept snow on it. All the good, without the bad. Awesome blue filter on those pics, Biff. Gives everything an eerie look
