She was always there for me, though thick and thin. I may have messed up multiple times but I still love her. I did everything I could to change the kind of person I was; I started exercising, went back to school, and got a job. I wanted to change for me, but also for her. When she told me it was too late, I didn't give up on our love. I'm glad I didn't give up because now we share this love that is so tender, and yet strong, so playful, so innocent.
